WHO WE ARE

Emma, Danny, Trevor, Lauren, Hannah, Shannon, Audrey, and Marques are eight college students from Riverside, CA attending California Baptist University who were tasked with creating a project to positively impact the community around them. The eight of them, being creative majors, came together and started IMPACT Design.

It originated with the desire to spread the message that there are children in our community who need your help. The ideation for how to execute this was a long process and changed many times along the way. Our team’s goal is to bring awareness to the foster care system in addition to providing resources to the public so that they can become an active role in making a difference. We reached out to local organizations and other resources that are currently involved in Riverside’s foster care system. IMPACT Design conducted interviews with individuals who grew up in the foster care system and our CBU peers who were interested in giving feedback on this project. Through extensive research and interviews, IMPACT Design learned and discovered the most vital information to include on our poster and website. 

Our hope is that you feel a strong call to action to be a light in the lives of Riverside’s foster care children.
